Executive Leadership

Rob Eleveld
Chief Executive Officer
Rob leads Ekata in its continued growth and global expansion efforts. He previously was the CEO of Whitepages, Inc. and has served as the CEO of other Seattle tech firms including Optify and Vykor. Rob is a proud veteran as an officer in the United States Navy, where he served aboard a fast attack nuclear submarine. Rob has a BA in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College and an MSE and MBA from Stanford University.

Varun Kumar
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Over Varun’s career, he has worked as a software architect within several tech and business verticals, at both big enterprises and startups. He has a diverse skill set covering data stores, big data analytics, Spark, Java, and enterprise software design. Varun has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.

Beth Shulkin
Senior Vice President, Global Marketing
Beth leads Ekata’s global marketing team of product marketers, marketing operations, demand generation and field marketers, and partner marketers. She has 20+ years of experience in strategy, product, marketing, and thought leadership, spanning several industries including, finance, communications, digital marketing, and data API technologies.

Ute Miller
Senior Vice President, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions
Ute leads product management and product strategy at Ekata. She has worked in the identity space since its early beginnings in 2000 and held key roles in identity and fraud prevention at Mastercard over the last 4 years. Ute is driving a holistic vision for our best-in-class identity products to bring the most impactful solutions to market and to our customers.

Suki Hayre
Vice President, Finance
Suki oversees accounting, financial planning and analysis for Ekata. She joined the company’s pre-spinoff business in 2004 and has extensive experience managing the financial and administrative operations of fast growth companies. Suki received a bachelor of science in commerce degree with a major in accounting from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ting Van Osdol
Senior Vice President, Global Account Services & GM, EMEA
Ting leads Ekata’s Account Service and Customer Success orgs globally and leads Ekata’s expansion efforts in our Amsterdam office. As a member of the executive leadership team, Ting oversees Ekata’s customer base across all regions, responsible for building enduring customer relationships and delivering best-in-class services to drive maximum value for every customer. Under her leadership, Ekata has been able to maintain over 120% revenue net retention rate year over year.

Nicholas Stipp
Vice President and General Manager & APAC
Nick Stipp is the VP and General Manager Asia Pacific for Ekata, a Mastercard company. He leads the company’s expansion efforts in the region where Ekata has had customers since 2017 and a physical presence since 2020. Originally from Canada, he has been based in Asia since 2008, having lived first in Beijing and now Singapore since 2015. He has held business leadership roles driving new products and regional expansion in both MNC and start-up organisations here. He holds Bachelors degrees from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from New York University.

Julie Hsiao
Director of Sales & APAC
Julie currently leads Ekata sales team in APAC. Her team is dedicated in defeating fraudsters and reducing friction to good customers for FinTech, neo banks and eCommerce marketplaces. She has 10+ years of client-facing experience across financial service, payment fraud detection and compliance solution in APAC region.
Julie has a BA in Economics from National Taiwan university and an MBA degree from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
