New data release: added 36+ million records to our Identity Graph including significant name to phone improvements and expanded coverage in Mexico and Brazil
The Ekata data team has been busy this year, making huge strides month after month in both coverage and accuracy. For the third month in a row, we pushed another data release. This brings our total for the year up to nine. The focus of this release was on two major initiatives: adding more name to phone links and expanding address validation coverage in Latin America.
Here’s a breakdown of the numbers:
- New global data and linkages:
- 9 million mobile phone numbers
- 7 million people
- 20 million name to phone links
- Expanded address validation coverage in Mexico and Brazil
Expanded coverage in Latin America
The most challenging feat of this release was the address validation coverage improvements made in Mexico and Brazil. These coverage improvements are premise level, meaning our products can drill down even further into addresses to more accurately assess the risk of transactions in those geographies. This improvement bolsters our Global Address Validation API, which we developed based on customer demand and released earlier this year, as well as our flagship products Identity Check API and Pro Insight.
This release improved both the quality and quantity of our global identity data, which is always a focus of ours. Stay tuned for a “year in review” summary where we will share the 2018 growth of our Identity Graph and share more about our quest for the best cross-border identity across the globe to find the best name, phone, email, address, and IP data. quest for the best cross-border identity data available name, phone, address, email, and IP.
